My view
Timothy Garton Ash pisze w “The Spectator”: 'The Brexit camp want to risk decades of real peace and prosperity to attain a future full of implausibly rational statesmen.'

My view:
The British 'exit or remain' debate is not about the EU, it is about British identity. If they leave, the UK will gradually disintegrate into national states: Ireland reunited, Scotland and Wales going independent; England ending up as a US dependency, Scotland and Wales joining the EU. If the UK remains, they will retain an essential mixture of British-English-Scottish-Welsh-Irish traditions in a multicultural EU, and gradually evolve together with others into a European confederation of states: yes, an ever closer union -- a better alternative to disintegration.
